Courses Offered

Under Graduate Courses:

B.H.M.S – Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (5 ½ Years)

Prior to1979 Diploma(D.H.M.S.) courses were conducted under affiliation of Osmania University and  the Degree course i.e., M.B.S (Homoeo) was started under the affiliation to the Osmania University.

From 1986 onwards B.H.M.S. course was introduced by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. From 2015-16 college was affiliated to KNR university of health sciences Warangal, T.G.

Earlier under graduate course intake was only 60 per academic year. From the academic year 2015 UG seats are enhanced from 60 to 100 by the Govt. of Telangana. Since this academic year i.e., 2019-2020 onwards total intake now stands at 125. Admission into U.G Courses is based on the merit obtained in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (U.G) i.e., NEET, and meritorious students are admitted into the college.

Post Graduate Courses:

M.D. (Hom) in seven specialties (3 Years)

P.G courses in Homoeopathy were started in the year 1999 in 3 Homoeopathic subjects i.e Materia Medica, Repertory, Organon & Philosophy with intake of six P.G. Scholars per academic year in each faculty.

So far 25 batches of P.G students got admitted.

From the academic year 2015 onward four more P.G. Specialties i.e., Practice of Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Pharmacy with 3 seats each in the new specialties were introduced with total intake capacity of 30 in 7 specialities.

From academic year 2019-20 P.G seats are enhanced to 38 with introduction of EWS scheme by Govt. of India.

Admission to P.G courses is based on the merit obtained in ALL INDIA AYUSH POST GRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST (AIAPGT).
